The lake from your window, a comfortable bed and the quiet of a century-old park: sometimes that is all it takes to feel good.
The double rooms are in the house built for the gardeners who worked for the Dal Pozzo marquises in 1827. They come in two types: the Deluxe Doubles, Robinia on the second floor and Castagno on the third, with a full lake view and more space, and the Basic Double on the first floor, with a partial lake view, cosy and well cared for.

Deluxe Double Robinia
On the second floor, with a full lake view, a king size bed and a large marble bathroom with a corner bathtub.
The Deluxe Double Robinia, on the second floor of the gardeners’ house, is the room for those who want the lake in front of them at every moment: a window with a splendid view of Lake Maggiore, a king size bed (or twin beds on request) and a light that fills the room in the morning. With its 23 m² it is cosy and bright, furnished in classic style with parquet floors and luxury curtains. The large private bathroom is in marble, with a corner bathtub, double sink, hairdryer and the Acqua di Stresa courtesy set. On the desk you will find the espresso machine and the electric kettle with tea or American coffee, and the minibar with drinks and snacks. Our guests remember these rooms for the extraordinary view, the comfortable bed, the cleanliness and the refined style.

Deluxe Double Castagno
On the third floor, with a full lake view and all the comfort of a deluxe room.
On the third floor of the gardeners’ house, the Deluxe Double Castagno gives you the lake from above, with your gaze running over the century-old park and the water. It is a 23 m² room, bright and spacious, with a king size bed (or twin beds on request), a wardrobe and a suitcase holder, furnished in classic style with parquet floors and luxury curtains that recall the history of the house, built in 1827. The marble bathroom has a corner bathtub and a double sink, with a hairdryer and the Acqua di Stresa courtesy set. You will find everything you need to relax: air conditioning or independent heating, a minibar, a 32-inch satellite TV, a safe and free Wi-Fi. It is the ideal choice for a romantic getaway or a relaxing weekend on Lake Maggiore.

Basic Double
On the first floor, cosy, with a partial lake view from the room and from the bathroom.
The Basic Double is the cosy, bright room for those who want the charm of a residence from 1827 without giving up anything essential. It is on the first floor of the gardeners’ house, measures 18 m² and has a window with a partial view of Lake Maggiore: you can see a little of the lake from the room and from the bathroom too. The bed is a double and the private bathroom is in marble, with a shower, sink, hairdryer and courtesy set. On the desk you will find the espresso machine and the electric kettle with tea or American coffee; there are also a minibar, a 32-inch satellite TV, a safe, air conditioning or independent heating and free Wi-Fi. Perfect for a simple but well cared for stay, a few steps from the park and the lake.

Good to know
Some useful information before you book.
- The double rooms are in the gardeners’ house, where each floor is served by an elevator.
- Each floor has a double room and a junior suite with a shared entrance: if you travel in a group, the floor can be turned into one large suite with two bathrooms.
- Cribs cannot be added. The rooms are non-smoking and pets are not accepted.
- Parking is free and breakfast is served every morning in the bistrot or on the lake view terrace.
